PGN: Immersing in Danish Culture In Copenhagen, Denmark

In the Fall Semester of 2023, Will Saltzman, a member of PGN at Indiana University-Bloomington, had the opportunity to immerse himself in the rich culture of Copenhagen, Denmark. Embracing the Danish lifestyle broadened Will's perspective, allowing him to experience and appreciate a whole new culture.

Will had this to say about his study abroad experience:

“Studying abroad in Copenhagen has made me more comfortable with uncertainty and has allowed me to refine my leadership skills, [which] I can now use to meaningfully contribute to campus organizations. From exploring the city’s many green spaces to participating in the Danish traditions of winter bathing and hygge, my time in Copenhagen has helped me immerse myself in Danish culture and appreciate a different worldview.

This experience has inspired me to pursue further international opportunities in both my career and personal life. I am grateful for this incredible experience and deeply thankful for the support of the PGN Scholars Foundation.“
