2024 Tuesday Hagiwara Senior Scholarship Award
Jessica Harvey is our second annual winner of the Tuesday Hagiwara Senior Scholarship Award. This scholarship was created to celebrate a Senior leader who exemplifies PGN’s spirit. The recipient is a member who has gone above and beyond to provide mentorship to new members, encourages existing members to stay involved, and has been instrumental in creating a stronger organization and chapter, making the future of PGN brighter.
About the Award
The Tuesday Hagiwara Senior Scholarship was founded in recognition of a former Executive Director who served the national organization from 2013 - 2020. Tuesday stepped into the role during a crucial time in PGN’s history, helping transition the organization into a new phase of leadership and growth. This scholarship celebrates her many years of dedication and commitment to ensuring PGN’s success and longevity.
The Grant Application period runs annually from April 1st to April 30th, with the recipient announced in May.
About Jessica:
Jessica has recently graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, majoring in General Management and Human Resource Management, with a concentration in Small Business Management / Entrepreneurship. She will be returning to IUP in the fall to complete her MBA. During her time on campus, she held various positions in PGN including Fundraising Chair, Recruitment Chair, DEI Chair, External Vice President, and Chapter President. While at IUP, Jessica was also part of Sigma Kappa sorority, Phi Eta Sigma Honors Society, and Gamma Sigma Alpha Honors Society. Currently, she has secured an internship at Little League International as an HR Recruiter. In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts with friends and spending time with her family.
